4th Grade Library Lessons

Check back here every week for new library fun.  Newest activities at the top.
* ZOOM TIME * FRIDAY 10:30 AM

WEEK OF MAY 25th - MAY 29th
This is the FINAL WEB POST for
weekly lessons on the library site this year.
It is a belated follow-up to the video from author
Ken Keffer about wolves being reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park (scroll below).
I strongly encourage you to check out the related WOLVES CHANGE RIVERS video underneath his as well.
That shares similar information to this book
about their
positive impact on the environment.

HOW DO WE MAKE A HIVE ?
<<<  Here is video that helps explain.
The narrator is British, so she may use measurements and terms unfamiliar to you. She also may use materials you might not have handy, but don't worry! For example, if you don't have straws, you can also make the hive homes by rolling up paper into tubes. Wrap it around a pencil to get the approximate size.
I hope this helps and that some of you try it!

WEEK OF MAY 18th - 22nd
Let's find out why BEES are the bees knees this week, with the help of the videos on the right featuring their importance to the environment and a fun look at beekeeping! LYNNE BRUNELLE
will help as well, check out some of this author's information in the

documents here >>>

some general activity pages!)

Segments will be numbered and posted under the STORYTIME tab as well.
Click below to tune in to the first reading
