WEEK OF MAY 25th - MAY 29th
This is the FINAL WEB POST for weekly lessons on the library site this year. I hope this book about two kids coming together to write a story inspires you to create your own this summer! I hope some of you dive into that challenge and share your own book(s) with me next school year! |

HOW DO WE MAKE THAT HIVE
you talked about Miss Smith? <<< Here is video that helps explain. The narrator is British, so she may use measurements and terms unfamiliar to you. She also may use materials you might not have handy, but don't worry! For example, if you don't have straws, you can also make the hive homes by rolling up paper into tubes. Wrap it around a pencil to get the approximate size. I hope this helps and that some of you try it! |
WEEK OF MAY 18th - 22nd
Let's find out why BEES are the bees knees this week, with the help of the videos on the right featuring their importance to the environment and a fun look at beekeeping! LYNNE BRUNELLE will help as well, check out some of this author's information in the documents here >>> (Psst. Look further to the right for some general activity pages!) |
